Philadelphia-by-way-of-Scranton-based punk band The Menzingers have announced some upcoming east coast tour dates. They are still supporting their 2007 release A Lesson in the Abuse of Information Technology, however, they will be announcing upcoming recording plans soon.

The Bouncing Souls: "Gasoline" (Pink Couch Session)If You Make It has posted the latest in their Pink Couch Sessions. The Bouncing Souls sat down on the couch during this year's Fest 7. The band recorded an acoustic version of their recent digital release "Gasoline." You can check out the video here, at the Pink Couch Sessions site.
The song will also appear on a forthcoming 7" that will collect the entries from January through March plus a bonus track. The song was produced by Ted Hutt, who worked on 2006's The Gold Record along with recent recordings from the Gaslight Anthem, Flogging Molly, and Street Dogs.

SideOneDummy signs Broadway Calls
SideOneDummy has (officially) announced the signing of Rainier, Oregon's Broadway Calls. The band previously released material on State of Mind and Adeline Records including 2007's Broadway Calls. Last year, the band issued a split with Teenage Bottlerocket.
The band is headed to Europe with Alkaline Trio this month. They will return and begin work on their next full length which is aiming for a later summer release.

Landmines in search of new drummer, detail plans for 2009Richmond, VA-based Landmines are looking for a new drummer. The band is currently writing the follow-up to their 2008 debut, Landmines, and has parted ways with their last replacement drummer. The band is planning to record this Spring, and tour the U.S., Canada and Europe.

Basically, we've got a lot of shit we're looking forward to this year. We're going to record another record real soon, we've got a couple real fun tours lined up including Canada and Europe. We've been writing a lot, which is harder than we thought without a drummer.
