Après deux ans d'incubation à composer et à se forger un son, un autre groupe de la petite mais prolifique scène musicale de St-Jean-sur-Richelieu émerge. Bien qu'inspirés par des racines différentes, les quatre musiciens de O Linea gravitent autour du même noyau rock alternatif. Il en résulte une atmosphère mystique mais humaine ou la complexité rejoint la simplicité. Les amateurs de groupes tels que Pearl Jam, Tool ou Incubus ne seront pas déçus!
En 2002, le groupe a su se démarquer rapidement et susciter des réactions positives. L'enregistrement de trois chansons a aidé le groupe à élargir son auditoire et à donner suite aux aspirations musicales des membres du groupe. Il a également permis au groupe de se produire en spectacle à plusieurs reprises dans la grande région de Montréal.
Les projets s'annoncent importants pour l'année 2003. Le groupe donnera plusieurs spectacles dans le but de roder les compositions qui se retrouveront sur le premier album, prévu pour l'automne 2003.
After two years of creative writing, another band from the small yet prolific musical scene of St-Jean-sur-Richelieu emerge. Even though inspired from different musical influences and styles, these four musicians grew out of the same alternative rock core. The result is a style that ranges from the mystical sounds of Tool to the rock integrity of Pearl Jam.
Even if just out on stage, the band quickly marked itself out from the rest and saw himself gratified by positive reactions from the growing crowds.
The latest recording of three new tracks helped the band in expanding his audience and lived up to all four band member's expectations. These short term aspirations are self-conscious, lucid and realistic. The band desires to progressively reach all the audience that it could have simply by presenting all that it has to offer: its music.
